What is Supermem?

Supermem is a hosted, persistent memory service for AI agents. Connected agents can save project decisions, preferences, and debugging findings, then recall them across sessions and tools through the Model Context Protocol, or MCP.

Does it save every conversation automatically?

No. Agents save and recall context by calling Supermem tools. Setup guidance tells them to recall at the start of a task and save useful facts and decisions. Automatic profile consolidation is optional and disabled by default.

How is my data protected?

Memory storage and embeddings are isolated by account. Supermem API keys are stored as hashes. Vault credentials are encrypted separately and excluded from memory search and profile inference. Memory content is not used to train models. Artifact files become accessible through a public link only when you choose to share them.
